Terms of use
These terms apply when you use plazi.app and the Plazi Telegram bot. By using Plazi or creating an account, you agree to them. How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy policy.
What Plazi is
Plazi is a free guide to events and local services for travellers, town by town. Plazi does not organise the events or provide the services it lists: hosts and providers do, and they are responsible for them.
Your account
You need to be at least 16 to create an account.
Use your real name or the name people know you by, and keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
What you post
You are responsible for what you post: listings, photos, your profile and links. Only post what is accurate, legal and yours to share.
If you list an event or service that isn’t yours, mark it as shared. Its organiser can ask to take it over.
Your content stays yours. You allow Plazi to host, show, resize and share it (for example on share cards, in the Telegram digest, in calendar feeds and in search engines) for as long as it is on Plazi.
Not allowed
Don’t use Plazi to:
- post spam, fake or misleading listings, or listings for illegal events, goods or services;
- post hateful, harassing, violent or sexually explicit content;
- impersonate someone, or post other people’s personal details without their permission;
- collect other users’ data, scrape the site at scale, or try to break, overload or get around its limits and security.
Tickets
Tickets on Plazi are reservations with the host. Plazi does not take payments: prices, payment, refunds, changes and cancellations are between you and the host. If an event changes or is cancelled, contact the host.
Reports and moderation
Anyone signed in can report a listing or profile. Something that gets several reports may be hidden automatically until we review it. We may edit, hide or remove content, and suspend accounts, that break these terms or the law.
Telegram bot
The bot sends the digests and messages you ask for. You can unfollow towns in the bot or block it at any time. Telegram’s own terms also apply.
No guarantees
Plazi is provided as it is. Listings come from hosts and the community, and we can’t check every one: we don’t promise they are accurate, safe or still happening. Check with the host before you go, and use your own judgement at events and with services.
Responsibility
As far as the law allows, Plazi is not responsible for losses caused by events, services or dealings between you and hosts or providers, or by the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time from Your page & account. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version; if you keep using Plazi after a change, the new terms apply.
