OX Expeditions has run volcano treks out of Antigua since 2004. On the two-day Acatenango trip you hike to a base camp facing the active Fuego volcano, have dinner by the campfire and try for the summit at dawn. Warm gear rental is included. The park entrance fee and porters cost extra.
