Kakaw Designs runs backstrap-loom weaving classes in its studio garden in central Antigua. The two-hour small-group beginner class is taught in Spanish by Doña Cristina, a master weaver from Santo Domingo Xenacoj, and runs every other Saturday morning. Private classes and week-long weaving intensives can also be booked.
