Instituto Iguana is a Spanish school and cultural center on a hill above Mazunte, a 10-15 minute walk from the beach. Its Spanish lessons and cultural workshops take place in a large open-air palapa with a palm roof, and the school also has a small guest house. Visitors can ask for its weekly activities program.
