A Friday morning Mayan cacao ceremony at the LavaLove Cacao shop in Barrio 3, San Marcos, next to Eco Hotel La Paz. You arrive at 9:50 to register, and the ceremony opens at 10:00 with an altar of flowers and offerings for the day's nahual. No reservation is needed, and the Q250 energy exchange is paid on site in cash or by card. The page gives the closing as 1:00 pm but also labels it 'noon', so the end time may be earlier.
