Noche de Velas (Night of Candles) 2026

Description

Seventh edition of the candle night in the village plaza of San Gaspar Vivar, about 3 km from central Antigua. Organisers aim to light around 5,000 candles, with lantern- and candle-decorating workshops and artistic performances through the evening. Visitors may bring their own white candle in a clear glass. A free municipal shuttle runs from Antigua's Parque Central from 4 pm.
