Festival del Níspero 2026 (Loquat Festival)

Description

The 14th edition of San Juan del Obispo's loquat (níspero) festival, held in the village plaza about 4 km south of Antigua. Expect fresh nísperos and products made from them such as wine and bread, traditional food, local crafts, plantation visits and a biggest-níspero contest. The cultural programme includes a marimba concert and a folkloric ballet; free municipal buses run from Antigua's Parque Central.
